Hi, I’m Kay. I am a recent MS graduate from Drexel University,  specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and UX Design. I have a strong professional background in the travel industry, and over the course of my career, I’ve worked on a variety of travel-related projects, which sparked and deepened my passion for user-centered design. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a keen interest in creating intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. Outside of work, I’m inspired by art, travel, architecture,  and reading all of which inform my creative perspective and drive for continuous learning.

MS Degree

Human Computer Interaction &

UX Design

Drexel University

Focused on human-centered, inclusive, and accessible design, this graduate program emphasized translating user research into thoughtful digital experiences. I developed skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, wire framing and prototyping, testing, heuristic evaluation, and design systems.

Key highlights include designing end-to-end UX case studies, building interactive prototypes, and completing a capstone centered on accessible and neurodivergent-friendly digital experiences. Coursework strengthened my ability to collaborate across teams, synthesize research into actionable insights, and design solutions that prioritize clarity, equity, and user well-being.

2020-2021

Certificate

Software Engineering

Flatiron School

Completed an intensive, project-based software engineering program focused on building full-stack web applications. Gained hands-on experience with front-end and back-end development, object-oriented programming, and collaborative version control workflows. Developed and deployed multiple applications while strengthening problem-solving skills, technical debugging, and an understanding of how engineering decisions impact user experience.

This program established a strong technical foundation that now informs my UX and HCI work—allowing me to design solutions that are both user-centered and technically feasible, and to collaborate more effectively with engineering teams.

Developed strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with an understanding of how cultural, economic, and technological factors influence business decisions.

This degree established a foundation in strategic thinking and user-centered perspectives that now inform my work in UX and product design particularly in areas such as stakeholder alignment, market research, and designing solutions that balance user needs with business goals.
